Property Treaty

The Property Treaty account divides relatively evenly between North American and International Business. The majority of the book is property catastrophe excess of loss reinsurance but the Syndicate also writes property risk excess, pro-rata and retrocession business, including regional retrocession.

The North American account comprises mainly mutual, regional insurance companies with which the underwriters have long-standing relationships. These companies typically focus on rural areas, writing personal lines, and in some cases, farms and small commercial business.

The International account has a large UK, Europe, Australasia, and Japan content, but it also serves clients across Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
