Plumptre joined on November 8 with over 17 years’ experience. She was most recently head of structured credit, political and security risks at the Canadian independent broker EQUA Specialty. Before that Plumptre spent over a decade in the London market at JLT and Willis Towers Watson. Fox is set to join on November 15 and was previously a Political Risk and Violence underwriter at NOA Syndicate 3902. Prior to this he served in same role at AmTrust at Lloyd’s, where he worked collaboratively with a series specialist brokers. Fox will take a leading role in shaping Blenheim’s underwriting portfolio and will have a particular focus on their trader clients.
“I am delighted to welcome Tamsin and Ed to complete the build out of our political risk team,” said David James, Senior Political Risk Underwriter at Blenheim.
“As we continue to see an increased demand across the range of political risk products, appointments such as this will be a key part in helping us strengthen our capabilities. I anticipate a strong start for them, as well as the whole team in the coming months, as we continue to support our clients who are navigating through opportunities of a rebounding economy.”
