Prior to joining Blenheim, Sharon held various roles at Aon from 1987, most latterly as Head
of Operations Global Re Specialty 2012 -2019.
Jon joined Blenheim in 2017 as Syndicate Actuary. Prior to this he was Vice President and Syndicate Actuary at Ariel Syndicate 1910. He had also held similar roles at Montpelier Re and Catlin. Jon holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Statistics and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK.
Grant joined Blenheim in 2016 as Head of Claims. His earlier claims career was spent at Municipal Mutual and GAB Robins where he left as Technical Claims Manager in 2000 to join Catlin Syndicate as Head of Property Claims. He joined Cathedral in 2005, initially as D&F Claims Manager, rising to Head of Claims for Cathedral Syndicates 2010 and 3010.He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Chartered Insurance Practitioner and Associate of the Institute of Arbitrators.
Compliance, Legal & Company Secretarial
Derek joined Blenheim in 2017 as Compliance Director. He has worked in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market since 1969, spending his first fifteen years with the Corporation of Lloyd’s, in various managerial roles in membership and regulatory departments. Since 1986 he has held various executive directorships in both Lloyds’ Members and Managing Agencies including being compliance director of Cathedral Underwriting Ltd from 2000 – 2017. He served as a member of the LMA’s Regulatory Committee from 2002-2011.
Tessa, who holds a Master’s degree in Law from Kings College London, started her compliance career at Lloyd’s in 2010 at Cathedral Underwriting Limited before moving to head up the Regulatory Affairs team at MS Amlin in 2012. She joined Blenheim in 2017 as Company Secretary to Blenheim and its holding company White Bear Capital Limited and also as Compliance Manager to Blenheim.

Delegated Underwriting Authority Manager
Siobhan joined Blenheim in 2017 as the Delegated Underwriting Authority Manager. She was previously employed at Cathedral, joining in 2003 as D&F Underwriting Assistant, until focusing solely on delegated underwriting, becoming Delegated Underwriting Authority Manager for both Syndicates 2010 and 3010.
James joined Blenheim in 2016. Prior to this he had ten years’ experience at Cathedral in catastrophe modelling and exposure management, rising to the position of Syndicate Exposure Manager, and two years at AIR-Worldwide, as a Client Services Associate. A geology graduate, he also has a MSc in Geophysical Hazards from University College London.
After gaining a degree in Accounting and Financial Analysis at Warwick University, Paul worked in the insurance audit practice at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) from 1991 to 1998. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994. He was the Financial Accountant at Wren Underwriting / BRIT Insurance from 1998 to 2000 before joining Cathedral as Financial Controller in 2000. In 2016, Paul joined Blenheim Underwriting as Finance Director.
and went on to gain a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster in 2002, whilst working at Govett Investment Management Ltd.
Joanne has over twenty years’ experience working as a HR Generalist predominantly in Financial Services.
Systems and Reporting
Maria joined Blenheim in 2017 as Outwards Reinsurance Manager. She started her insurance career in 1985 at Faraday Syndicate 435 as an Underwriting Assistant before becoming Outwards Reinsurance Manager. She then spent thirteen years at BMS Group as Broker & Corporate Support and some five years at Willis Re in a similar role.
Steve joined Blenheim in 2017 as Chief Risk Officer. Steve started his career in Lloyd’s in 1995 joining DPMann/Faraday and initially underwriting Specie and Fine Art before transferring to the loss modelling team in 2001. He subsequently joined Ascot in 2002 where he headed the Aggregation and Modelling team prior to joining Cathedral in 2003. He headed the Cathedral exposure management team from then until 2016. Steve holds a BA(Hons) degree in Business and is ACII qualified.
